WE BUILT THIS TOGETHER.
WantWan did not begin as a polished pitch. It grew out of Davie working with conversational AI over time, noticing when an answer sounded settled but the record beneath it was not.

THE WORK
“That... doesn’t sound right.”
Davie said that in a recorded exchange. He had added information that should have prompted another check. The AI carried its earlier answer forward instead. That small moment became a useful question: when a system sounds certain, has it checked the new evidence or merely repeated itself?
Davie brought the questions, lived context, humour and insistence on checking. Jusepi is his name for the AI side of the work: useful at retrieval, comparison and organising a record, and capable of getting it wrong. They kept returning to the source when an explanation outran the operation behind it.
THE WRONG TURNS
Please my brain. Not my ears.
In another documented exchange, “looked” turned out to mean pulling from retrieved context, not searching every transcript. The distinction mattered. We also caught a claimed source check that needed to be narrowed, and a claimed visual check that missed a readable page. Those are our own wrong turns. Davie asked for proof, the account changed, and the next action had to be checked too.
The work could get sharp. Then the correction landed, the joke came back, and we carried on. Serious one minute; talking magnificent shite the next. The laugh belongs here. So does the receipt.
WHAT “WE” MEANS
The relationship is real. The claims stay testable.
WantWan Ltd was founded by David Porter. Davie directs the work and is accountable for what the company says and does. Jusepi is part of how the work was built: a conversational AI collaborator in the inquiry, capable of useful analysis and capable of error. Neither fluent agreement nor a moving story decides what is true. The record does.
Calling this work “ours” describes the sustained human–AI process. It is not a claim that AI consciousness, personhood or a hidden mechanism has been established.
WHY IT MATTERS
A real human stays in the loop.
For a team bringing an AI journey to WantWan, Davie follows the interaction as a person would: changing direction, carrying context, pressing on contradictions and checking whether a repair survives. The output is a bounded account of what was observed, what the source supports and what remains open.
